“The Julia Burke Foundation was established in 1998 after Julia, one of Whitney’s dearest childhood friends, tragically lost her life in a car accident. The Foundation has grown considerably over the years and has donated money to various causes that Julia was passionate about, ranging from organ donation to scholarship programs to landmine recovery projects. With the generous help of the Foundation’s directors, 100% of donations in honor of our wedding will go toward international projects, specifically microloans in Peru, where Whitney lived between 2002 and 2003.
